Hello, I'm ,
a Helsinki-based screenwriter and director with a multicultural background.

The frameworks of solidarity and intersectional feminism are very important to me, and often appear in my work. Stylistically I like to play with the juxtaposition of softness and roughness, pairing what is traditionally considered "feminine aesthetics" with darker existential themes. I guess my previous life as a philosophy graduate never truly left me. Since then, I've graduated from Aalto University with MA in screenwriting.

Currently I'm working on two scripts racing to be my debut feature: an arthouse-leaning feminist sci-fi set on Venus under the working title “Toward The Magnificent Shadow” , as well as an absurd comedy scary-sexy-girl-roadmovie with the working title “Beyond The Rainbow”. Both have been funded with screenwriting grants by the Finnish Film Foundation.

Outside of writing and directing, I also teach. Most recently I've taught my own screenwriting class for beginners at Työväenopisto, as well as Helsingin Aikuisopisto. I also love to direct various workshops for actors as a writer/director, so feel free to ask!

In my free time I play video games, take my cat to the dentist, write smut and fuck around with chaos magick. Watch this space for possible future chaos retreats for creatives!
